Gorgeous lamp! Sleek design, multiple color functions and brightness controls. Easy to use remote. The turning mechanism is silent!!! Very great quality. Holds a decent charge. The colors on the walls are absolutely stunning. I really love the sunset color settings.

The lamp is very beautiful, the only thing I have to say is that in order for you to get the effect on the ceiling you’d have to take off the top cover because with it on it just looks like a normal light. In my opinion you could probably find a cheaper alternative for much less but if your looking for the aesthetic look this would be a great buy.

This lamp is very cute, the colors look great on the lamp, but as demonstrated in my video, the colorful swirls do not project on to the wall - it’s just colored light.

The base of this lamp is sturdy. Upon first use, it was kind of boring. I expected it to project aurora type lighting on the walls. However, the shade prevented that. I went back and watched the video, to see that the lamp shade is removable. On first try, it's not as easy as the video demonstration. I pulled and twisted at that shade. It was not coming off. I felt like I was going to break the lamp. Next, I grabbed a small flathead screwdriver. I slid it into the bottom edge of the shade, and applied a slight upward prying motion. The lid popped right off. Now I can just rest it on top. I assume that if I pushed down that it will snap back on and require the screwdriver again. Most likely the shade will eventually get thrown away, as again, it's just boring. However, from my picture, you can see that it does indeed project onto a wall minus the shade. Instructions are cheap and minimal. The remote performs many functions, but it's not self explanatory. Other than the on/off and a few color buttons, it's difficult to decipher. I also have not found a mode yet which will auto transition between colors. Also, the pictures from my phone seem to make the projection look better than in person. For those reviewers that can't get the shade off, go grab a small flathead screwdriver.
